About AfroSport

Afrosport will provide a hub for all media pertaining to Africa (including the Diaspora) and sport. Our objectives are:·

1.

To be the Hub for all sports matters related to Africa, reflecting the diverse heritage and enjoyment that Africa has given and continues to give to global sports.

2.

To profile the activities of today’s Afrosport stars, giving them a platform to share their insights and perspective.

3.

To draw attention to and celebrate the past successes of Afrosport stars across the world and the rich heritage that many have created.

4.

To promote a sports legacy to inspire future generations of Afrosport athletes through a media platform for Afrosport fans to both enjoy and engage with the best of sports, at both a local and international level.

5.

To provide a focal point for over a billion Afrosport fans to enjoy, engage and participate in both a global and a local sporting conversation that reflects their identity and culture.

Who we are

Afrosport celebrates these heroes and heroines of sport,

in a way that informs, inspires, entertains and engages Afrosport’s fans across the globe, shining a light and a new perspective on what Africa has brought to the world of sport, whilst at the same time bringing the world of sport, and all that the best of sport can bring – its enjoyment, its inspiration, its unifying power – to Africa and the Diaspora.
